আমি হই আমার বন্ধুরে

 

আমি হই আমার বন্ধুরে
ত্রিজগৎ হই আমি, আমি সিন্ধুরে
না হই আমি মুসলমান, না হই হিন্দুরে ॥
আমি ঘরে আমি বাইরে, আমি যে সর্ব ঠাঁই
আমি বিনে আর কিছু দেখিতে না পাই ॥
আমা হইতে সব হইয়াছে, আমি দেখি মূল
জ্ঞান চক্ষে চাইয়া দেখি, আমি হি বিলকুল ॥
আমি আছি সব আছে, আমি গেলে নাই
আমি যাইতে ভবানন্দ , ভাঙ্গিয়া যাইমু ভাই ॥
আমা হইতে পয়দা হইছে এই সংসার
আমি যাইতে ভাঙ্গিয়া যাইমু, করিয়া ছারখার ॥
আমি আগে আমি পিছে, আমি মূলাধার
আমিত্ব ছাড়িয়া বন্ধু, হইয়াছি আমার ॥
হাসন রাজা নেস্থ হইয়া, হইছে বন্ধুয়ার
বন্ধের সনে মিশিয়া বলে, সকলি আমার ॥

 

I myself is my friend

I am in the three-worlds, I am the ocean

I'm not Muslim, not Hindu.

I am in and out of the house, I am everywhere

I am the root wherefrom everything originated

I perceive only me with my knowledge-eye

If I exist, exists everything

If I disappear, disappears all.

It is me wherefrom this world originated

When I go, I shall break and destroy everything.

I am the beginning and end, I am the root-cause

Before I am, I am back, I'm in all stay

Leaving my own entity, I became the friend of mine
